CJN Urges Acting Abuja Chief Judge to Lead by Example

Newly sworn-in Acting Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory, Justice Ibrahim Bukar must lead his fellow justices by example, Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Aloma Mariam Mukthar has said.

Buka replaces Justice Lawal Gummi in acting capacity as the FCT Chief Judge, after the former occupant resigned the position ahead of her turbaning as  Emir of Gummi in Zamfara State.

Mukthar, speaking in Nigeria's capital city while performing the swearing-in ceremony of the Acting FCT Chief Judge, urged the Chief Judge to diligently execute his responsibilities, ensure expedited hearing and determination of cases, and summarily be the model of discipline to others in the profession.
